Class 1 ducting is designed to meet the specifications of ENATS 12-24 Class 1 and is for the ducting of high voltage cables. There are 2 different types available and therefore approval should be sought from the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) before installation. Specific colour requirements also vary depending on the DNO concerned.
Polypropylene Twinwall is supplied with a black outer and red liner as standard, red outer with red liner is also available. Standard sizes are I/Ds of 100mm, 125mm and 150mm, and lengths are generally 6m.
Single Wall PVC is also supplied in either black or red and comes with a blown socket as standard. Ring sealed and plain ended options can also be used. The sizes range from 89mm to 225mm in both colours and are 6m long as standard.
Bends and couplers are kept in stock for both types of ducting.
